School principle, Inland Waterways Instructor, First Aid Instructor and VHF Instructor/Assessor.

Chrisy has been a “live-aboard” on the inland waterways for many years in both England and Scotland and has experience of a wide range of vessels, from sailing yachts to wide beams.

Her boating both north and south of the border gives Chrisy an appreciation of every type of inland waterways situation including canals, river and all types of locks. Her experience includes delivering canal boats, vessel maintenance and even the design of her own vessel “Indi”.

Chrisy - Instructor and RYA School principal

The widebeam Indi is based on the Forth and Clyde on the Lowland Canals of Scotland. Indi is not only her home but also doubles up as her training vessel. Indi is ideal for training as it has a large cruiser stern for students to gather on and is large enough to give students the confidence to handle any future vessels.

As well as providing courses on Indi Chrisy is happy to provide courses on students own boats wherever they may be, as long as they are suitable.
